We the Members of the SEA:
We the members of the SEA are committed to creating visionary leaders who take dynamic roles in moving toward the Aurora Public Schools' mission by supporting quality education, encouraging partnerships, and advocating for people. We the members of the SEA promote educational programs in the Aurora Public Schools and provide quality education for students. We promote a positive public image of schools, and schools executives, and provide diverse public growth opportunities for professional development and advancement on a continual basis. The SEA is committed to advocating the role of the APS administrative stakeholders in the shared decision-making process, and continuously works to seek improvements in benefits and compensation for administrators. We also enhance the quality of the work environment to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the SEA and APS, and also work to secure an active role in the development of district policy. We also would like to collaborate with other professional organizations across the globe and serve as a proponent for equality and diversity in all aspects of district operations. Furthermore we would like to establish and advocate the positions which impact Aurora schools executives, and establish positions regarding issues which impact Aurora Public Schools, and its patrons, students and staff.
